Our purpose is to create and promote verbatim theatre in Austin, TX and beyond. The Verbatim Co. seeks out real world stories and puts them on stage with a unique process that begins with interviewing the people who were really there. Their actual words and lived experiences are performed by actors in a fully produced documentary play. We also host workshops for theatre professionals who want to create their own verbatim work.
